Review article about intercropping published

How and how much is intercropping contributing to sustainable agriculture and how can it be implemented in the Mediterranean region? ReMe-diation project partners from Akdeniz University, Ankara Univerisity and Hamburg University of Technology, together with Mojtaba Kordrostami from the Nuclear Science and Research Institute Technology in Iran, reviewed the existing research regarding these questions and their review article “The advantages of intercropping to improve productivity in food and forage production – a review” (DOI: 10.1080/1343943X.2024.2372878) was published today in the journal Plant Production Science as open access publication. Congratulations to the authors! And we hope that with the results of the ReMe-diation project we can further contribute to an expansion of knowledge on the subject of intercropping in the Mediterranean region.
